iDesign WaveScan Studio System
The iDesign Advanced WaveScan Studio System is a state-of-the-art 3D mapping technology used to detect imperfections in the eye that result in poor vision.
How It Works
The advanced system takes 1,200 readings of the eye within a span of three seconds, offering outstanding accuracy. The iDesign system has the ability to measure tiny details of the eyes, including the shape of the cornea, the passage of light through the eye and pupil size. This allows our eye doctors to offer highly customized LASIK treatments for people with higher levels of astigmatism and for those who have unusual pupil sizes.
The Kamra Inlay from AcuFocus is a revolutionary procedure that helps reduce, and in some cases, eliminate the need for reading glasses in adults with presbyopia.
How It Works
The inlay is a mini-disc, smaller and thinner than a contact lens and consists of an outer ring and a tiny central opening. Once implanted into the cornea, the tiny central opening allows only focused light to enter the eye. The Kamra Inlay is inserted into only one eye, typically the non-dominant eye. With both eyes working together, the patient’s near vision is restored without sacrificing distance vision.
